How it
works
The travel and
tourism industry is the largest single industry and the leading export product
in the world. From airlines to airports, from ships to trains, from catering
companies to fuel suppliers, the modern travel industry serves a vital role
in the world economy.
The ability to
use a Global Distribution System, or GDS, is an essential skill for anybody
who is interested in working in the travel industry, or with the reservations
department of an airline. This course will provide you with the job-related
knowledge and skills required for employment in this challenging and rapidly
changing field.
You will receive
a package with training for each of the three major reservation systems:
Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre. The content is suited for
entry level trainees, as well as for those interested in refreshing their
skills or converting from one system to another. You can learn one system
or all three, for one set fee.
Our courses are
student-friendly and completely job-oriented. You will study in the comfort
of your own home or office, at your own pace and in your own time. As you
complete your studies, you will have access to personal assistance from a
friendly personal mentor from Edutour, who will offer guidance when needed
and answer any queries you might have.
It will take
approximately 40 hours to complete each course. There are no prerequisites,
other than a basic knowledge of English.
